1. Who we are

This website and the client portal are operated by NWVT, S.A. de C.V. (“Cierra”), Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur, Mexico. By using them you accept these terms.

2. Nature of our services

Cierra provides closing coordination services. Cierra is not a Notario Público, a bank trustee or an escrow agent, and does not receive or hold client funds. The scope, fees and responsibilities for each transaction are set out in the engagement letter signed with each client, which prevails over these terms.

3. No advice through the website

Content on this website is general information, not legal, tax or financial advice for any particular transaction, and does not create a client relationship.

4. Portal access

Portal access is personal and by invitation. You must keep your credentials and second factor confidential and tell us immediately of any unauthorized use. Status information in the portal reflects the information available to Cierra at the time and may depend on third parties such as the notary, trustee, authorities and escrow provider.

5. Payment instructions

Cierra never sends or changes wiring instructions by email. You must verify any payment instructions as described in our wire-fraud notice before sending funds.

6. Intellectual property

The site, the portal and their content belong to Cierra or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.

7. Privacy

We handle personal data as described in our privacy notice.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the federal laws of Mexico. Disputes are submitted to the competent courts of La Paz, Baja California Sur, waiving any other jurisdiction.
